what IS a medium format video that will make it worth while? even with the GFX100 people then will say that other cameras in FF or even fuji APSC have "better specs" or are those statements something that does not understand the benefit of medium format even though on paper the specs dont quite compete yet and maybe the sensor size is the thing that pulls the quality much higher. an update a while ago was the compatibility between the GFX and the ATOMOS V that allows for higher recording specs which might make things more appealing for users. and maybe compete in the dynamic range over the FF system. it will still comes to lens line up and am not sure if the lens fuji wants people to use for video are their current line up or will they release some CINE lens for their G mount system? I personally would still think going smaller with medium format is something more possible in the short term than MF video. To create something like a X100V medium format style camera. A built in Lens that is more pan-cake than the GFX 50mm - using the GFX50R body and due to the lens being built in to the body maybe they are able to make the 50mm more compact while also making it a f2.8 than the f3.5. - adding some OIS instead of IBIS. and maybe most important is the leaf shutter system for faster flash sync speeds as an option alternative to the hasselblad system. will have to see 90mp how much noise will that then produce compared to the medium format system.
