Transmitter technology is really good today and I can't remember the last time that one failed on me. I usually recommend divers to use an analogue SPG but, as long as the battery has plenty of charge I wouldn't worry about only using a transmitter.

I have a question. Are these Tecline lagurators good and is it worth considering? because I'm considering these two, Tecline or Apeks MTX-RC

I have a pair of Tecline Regulators in test right now and they breathe really nice. As long as you can get them serviced near you it's hard to fault them. Apeks have a long heritage and are always a safe choice.

First: i love the second stage and i used to like the R2 First stage. BUT: within 9 Months from new, untouched/unserviced 2 First stages failed. In one the membran and in a second one small oring that was zero greased broke. Sorry but a 66% Failure rate of the first stage in just 9 Months use from new is unacceptable. Also the service kits are not super available on the market and kind of expensive (50 euro plus)
