You can argue all you want about the brand or UX, but it's hard to argue against 8g Ram/256gb for less than 120k. Those fundamentals are strong.

I watching this video one month later and I'm greatly impressed with this phone! Although there are competitors who perform better at this price category, I'm definitely going to this one. More competition means more seriousness and when it comes to the market, good news to consumers. Since the arrival of other Chinese brands like Oppo/Vivo and Xiaomi(especially) in the Nigerian market, I noticed Tecno really upped their game pretty fast. This should be like the best phone in this price point. That hole cut out is something I prefer to the "V or U" on the Samsungs at this price.

I think Poco m5 with MediaTek G99 at 130k is a good device and might offer much better experience that the spark 10 pro with G88 , the only thing in that spark 10 pro is you get a larger 256gb at a lesser price but Poco m5 is a performance killer though

Finally.... Here's what i think 1. The memory and built is 10/10 for me, no phone offers such ram and rom below 200k (i stand corrected though) 2. For someone on a tight budget, this looks perfect. I don't expect much for this price point so its just good enough especially at a time like this in the country. I was looking at going for redmi 10 (2022) but the 128gb is 135k, 30k extra yet their updates can crash your phone, no update me pls. Then i saw Samsung A14, those bezels are 👎👎 for 2023 pls. I thought about waiting for A54 but if A53 is about 300k, what should i expect of its successor? Like Kagan will say, that's my house rent pls. Summary: I'm getting this tecno tomorrow ✌️ PS: if na wrong move, Izzi pls tell me

Got mine last week and here are few things I noticed: Camera aint that great just fair. The OS doesn't seem to support Gmail and Outlook apps. Mails keep loading endlessly without opening. Same thing happens with apps that have extensions. The speaker is poor. The RAM/ROM are as detailed here, excellent (I use the 256GB version - Spark 10pro) Then the battery life is fairly ok. It should last you atleast 30hrs of screen time if you are not a heavy user. Overall, the phone is good for the price considering the specs that comes with it as well as the price. I'd rate it 5/10.

But my friend's spark 10 pro is Mediatek Helio G99. Honestly, the feel of the phone feels and looks like flagship until you check the product name and see Tecno. Honestly, this phone is out of this world. If only Tecno will keep releasing OTA to fix security patches amd bugs in future, i will buy this bit if not, i rather stick with my Redmi Note Series.

Tecno is an average company but their downside and why I can't use their phones is their software durability. After some months you start to notice a drop in performance and the bloatware is annoyingly much. Otherwise it's a good and very budget friendly phone with that 256gb storage

It's true. But phones are built well enough to withstand a couple of full charge cycles before battery degradation kicks in. So, unless you're charging your phone at every opportunity, multiple times daily, it should last you a while before you start noticing drop in the battery efficiency
