Great review, thank you for the comparison. Only if Tecno and Infinix, will improve the OS and security updates, at least to three years. Many people wouldn't mind using their devices. Their update cycle makes buying based on longevity difficult.

Samsung A25 is around 300$ with large bezzels, also they won't even gave a charger in the box while, the Tecno Spark 20 pro plus is around 170$ with a curved amoled screen and very thin bezzals, they also give every accessories in the box including a charger so, I think that Tecno is better because cameras are also not too bad for 170$.

Boss the reason for the tecno camera being like that saturated and awful hdr is because its AI mode is toggled on so it tends to just colorize everything toggle it off and lets see

That's cap .. the a25 does not win in almost all categories. The only area I would say the Samsung is better is the cameras. Now talking about performance, seeing higher numbers does not mean the lower figure is slow. A chip can be very fast on its own but there are other chips faster that the one which is already fast. The chip in the spark 20 pro + is a very good when it comes to performance, like I said. It's fast on its own. So even if the Samsung has higher figures than it in bench marks ..that does not make it slower. Someone ran a bench mark for iPhone 16pro max and the s24 ultra. The s24 ultra won but you can't tell me that the 16 pro max is then slow cuz the s24 ultra is better. Meaning whether you get the spark or the a25 you are getting very good performance from both. Now In a country like Nigeria, it's going to be a waste of money to get a phone that has no charger in the box and still runs on 25w with a battery that performance tells on compared to a phone that comes with a 33w charger in the box, charges faster and the battery last long. For the cameras, all you have to do is to download external camera apps on the spark 20 pro +....and the a25 is learning. I will give the display to the spark also. Cuz Samsung should not be making phone with huge bezels at this point, looking at the phone from the back ..the screen might look large but those bezels actually reduces the amount of screen you have when using the phone.

@@tomimartins9208 not just performance in times of updating the android version the Samsung gets more years of update and I have watch the a25 performance in terms of gaming as well it's plays at the highest frame rate genshin impact works just fine without lag and cod mobile runs smooth and wey they all perform pretty well compared to that of the 20pro+

@@Benedictsado I agree...BUT when we are talking about phones....we have to look at it from the consumer point of view... You will HARDLY find any Nigerian or even African buying phones for software updates.... Alot of people are just looking for a very decent phone at the most affordable price has possible and guess what ..that's kind kind of phone we tag better in this part of the world. Also, do you know that only a very small group of mobile games play games like the one you mentioned? In the gaming industry, mobile take 50% of the market share compare to console and PC, but the kind of games that these mobile games play are not even the type that you mentioned....it's more of games like candy crush, sub way surf, you know that kind of games now. My point is...only a very small group of people will buy a phone like a25 to play genchin impact at max frame rate.... Cuz that chip won't even main the performance...for a phone that gets hot...at some point that game will start lagging.... The best value for money here is the spark and that's what an average user will tag a better phone. Unfortunately, most smart phone users in the world are average users.
