I bit the bullet and purchased my 1st. pr. of cowboy boots: Tecovas (The Wyatt Pecan full quill Ostrich boots) I thought I would give them a try and I went to a casino all you can eat sea food buffet and dribble hot butter on the left boot (4 pretty large spots)the spots look black on the boots. Didn’t notice this until I got home. I’m very disgusted with myself! Is there a way to get those spots off without ruining the full Ostrich boots??? Note: I did buy some Boot Barn Exotic leather cleaner & conditioner months ago, I've never used any cleaner/conditioner before and don't want to ruin my new boots. You seem to know a lot about cowboy boots. I need you thoughts. Thanks

Did you replace the shank? Or just wrap the old one with tape?

Just wrapped them with tape. If they would of been broken I would of replaced them both. These were in good shape still.

@@MannyTheBootmaker I'd have to say I'm right in between - real time would be a lot to sit through, but having SOME real-time work shown would be a very nice touch. Mostly to hear the sounds, for me :) I disagree that it's pointless to post in this format though, and saying so makes it seem clear that OP only values videos like this based on how entertaining they are. If all creators listened to commenters like them, no one would have bothered posting the videos they DO enjoy. Just an ignorant and thoughtless stance to take.
