Tecsun PL-660 on Air Band

Testing Air Band reception from flights on approach to NAIA airport. Receiver's location is approx. 20km due north of NAIA. Caught Delta 473 (DL473) on approach from Tokyo (NRT) to Manila (MNL). Time on receiver's display is UTC. Local time is UTC+8.
Edit: Time on display is 12 hours off.... Sorry. Should be showing 13:3x instead.

Do you receive intermodulations coming from commercial FM in the air band (118-137 Mhz) of Tecsun PL 660? My tecsun does :(

Nope. Our commercial FM band is between 87.5-108.0 MHz, pretty far from the Air band. Though, I don't get to hear a lot of chatter as the nearest airport is 10 miles from where I live. I can only hear radio transmissions from aircraft that are airborne because they offer the best line of sight.

i wana know how good is the radi called Audiomax srw 810 compared to Tecsun 660?

Unfortunately, I don't have any other receivers to compare the PL-660 to.

@@debojitacharjee No SW radio that I have seen has the recording feature. For 20$ you can buy the Tecsun Q3 radio recorder and record from your radios with Line in (AUX).

@@debojitacharjee Unfortunately the Tecsun Pl-660 is NOT able to record stations by it self. You have to use an external recorder like the Tecsun Q3. You connect the two by AUX cable and the audio from the 660 will be recorded on the Q3.
