Puerto Rico deserves full statehood with 2 senators and their fair share of Representatives in the House. There are 3 million Puerto Ricans on the island who don't get a vote and 6 million in the United States who get to vote because they are on the mainland. This is an unfair second class citizenship for our fellow Americans in Puerto Rico. There are MORE total Puerto Ricans than citizens in each of 39 of the states in the US. Why should they be treated so unjustly? This is an obscene unfairness leftover from colonialism and Republicans continue to oppress Puerto Ricans. Shame on Cruz whose father is Cuban and understand oppression of islanders.

So when asked about abortion rights Cruz dodges by pointing out that that’s “for the state legislator and governor” but when championing his 12 year record he cites Texas’ “low taxes, low regulation, small business success and lots of jobs”. I actually agree with Colin, even though I'm voting for Trump. You don't need to vote based off of red or blue. You do it off the person. Not that Ted is a bad person, I just feel all state/government leaders need to have term limits. It's most appropriate. Same with federal agency leaders. If you want to limit corruption, limit terms. That's the most logical sense.
