Ted was my 2nd fav wrestler behind Harley Race. With the exception of the WWF. I never watched that product, so I never saw that gimmick.

I met Ted/Virgil/Hacksaw about 33 years ago when they came to my little podunk town Wenatchee WA and wrestled in my HS gym... 3 of the coolest guys I have ever had the pleasure to meet when it came to wrestlers....

I was in PE when they kicked us out of the Gym to set up the ring and my uncle got us tickets sat ringside Hacksaw hit Ted with his 2x4 and my uncle got spit on He thought it was coolest thing ever... Last time wrestling was in that town till TNA came 20+ years later when we got an Arena
