Awesome as always. My only suggestion would be to add mounting holes in the hardox for some type of spool mount. Only because hardox is so impossible to drill for the end user.

I want to see how deep you can get a buried cable or pipe. It looks like yours runs better than the subsoilers I have previously used for burying cable, but I would like to see how deep you can go. It would have been nice to see how deep that L6060 could pull it too. Usually, you don't want to run it very deep, but for burying pipe and cable you do.

If Ted adds optional spools to accommodate 1,000 foot roll of 1 inch pex and a spool for wire, I'm getting in line to buy one

So, I see you can buy it on the web site so, is it available now or is it a pre-order kind of thing? Reason being, I'd like to go ahead a get it ordered so I can get started on, hopefully, drying out some of my fields. Not that I know what I'm doing though... lol. Oh, what color(s) does it come in. Not a big deal, just curious.. unless it's pink then I'm putting my wife on the tractor until the paint wears off! lol...

Hey Roger, thanks for watching! It is available now with roughly a 4 week turnaround time from ordering. Color choice is black, black, or black. 😁

That's awesome. Will it work with a 3 point quick hitch?
@EverythingAttachments Жыл бұрын
It is quick hitch compatible, but keep in mind that it will dish out a LOT of stress to added linkage like that. With most quick hitches being made in china, I'd exercise caution when using it on one. -Travis

Think I could lay 2 strands of 220 cable or will it require 2 separate passes? BTW, love your hole digger attachment we bought from you 6 or 7 years ago!
@joshfisher9966 Жыл бұрын
Probably not. You need the wire or pipe to be significantly smaller than the feed tube. If it doesn't feed smoothly and binds, then it will break your wire, especially aluminum. Also, you need to get 220 V buried at least 18 inches deep by code. But why would you bury 2? It would almost always be cheaper and easier to bury a single larger cable and then split them at a breaker box, if you needed multiple circuits.
@acepics Жыл бұрын
I have a machine that requires 220 by itself and I need another circuit to break out for other equip and lighting

We'll be putting it through the paces. Primo material like Hardox 450, which is all over our Wicked Subsoiler, definitely isn't cheap, but, as Ted mentions, using it has huge advantages. The Hardox 450 material allows us to create optimal performance and durability without using bulky, thick, cheap steel like other mfgs do.
@ctraltdel6510 Жыл бұрын
I got a $350 subsoiler from tractor supply and bent it pretty good with my 45 hp mahindra. If you want something strong you gonna have to pay for it. I guess youd just have to justify it however.
