I think the Trent Crimm book is going to write about how Colin is a pillar of the team and how well respected he is being known to be able to be a team player and do what is best for the team. A glowing report, opposite of what he did with his article that was talked about with Roy years ago. This arc is about redemption and ways for people to be better people. Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should. IMHO.

Ted Lasso might be a mess but he’s not lost his kindness. They should have shown the video of Nate the day they found it. Give them time to calm down. Lasso knew that too. He knew Nate tore the sign. He didn’t need to see it again.

Great reaction. You should know that it's quite a big talking point that no footballer has ever come out in the Premier League. It would be a major thing to happen. There is so much pressure on players to be hetero. A few have come out in the lower leagues, and one sadly took his own life. The Colin story could change the real world, you never know.

Another banger of an episode: 1. I love that they showed Nate being just slightly remorseful of his actions. I think this season will be him getting there but for now his is still a very insecure person and any praise he receives still goes right to his head. 2. I loved that we touched back on Teds passion about not quitting. He still hasn’t quit on Nate and he knows he will get back to himself in his own time. He’s like a great friend waiting around for when you are truly ready to talk it out 3. I think Kelley is going to grow more again this season but it’s going to probably start with her putting Shandy in check, I can sense a falling out coming between those two. I think Kelley is trying to earn that same respect that everyone affordsRebecca, but in her own way. She’ll get there but I think it’ll really start with her being more direct with those close to her.

Love your review. Trent knows that even hinting at the truth of a gay player in a premier league team will cause all sorts of ructions. So, it will be interesting to see what he does with the information about Colin. Even if he doesn't mention his name the truth will affect the dressing room, with the less broad-minded players being openly hostile towards whoever they think it might be. The abuse the team would get from the opposing fans would be relentless. The British media would stop at nothing to find out who is the gay player on the team. Trent may try to talk to Colin about his sexuality but, if he just dropped it in the book without any warning it really would cause a whole heap of trouble on Richmond.

Actually the coaches are that close in real professional soccer because each team dugout is either side of the entrance tunnel. By the way the black commentator on the show is in real life one of the coaches of the England national and coaches the team at world cups. By the way only Spanish speaking people call it futbol, it is an England created game so football is the proper way to say. It is just in America because you have such a big Mexicans population, Americans think the rest of the world pronounces it the Spanish way.

I find it disgusting that Ted's wife is now dating the person who was their marriage counselor and that the kid knows his as well. you are spouse to wait a while before introducing the kid to your boyfriend when you divorced his dad almost like she trying to replace him quickly

Homophobia in sport in general and in football in specific is very aggressive! I stopped following eroupean football leagues for years now but I know no players has came out in any major football team. This would definitely destroy Colin's carrer , in real life, but I'm very interested in how they are gonna handle this subject in this show cuz it is a very tricky subject.
