Excellent summary. A key issue is how much longer can the US GDP growth be sustained since it is largely driven by ever increasing government debt? Going into ever increasing debt to pay for consumption is a dubious economic strategy.

Great commentary and advice. I read a story about Bernard Baruch and he said that he sold all of his stock holdings in the late 1920's when he received unsolicited stock tips and advice from the Shoe Shine Boy near his office. He figured if the Shoe Shine Boy was in the market then then everybody was all in.

Ted, I'm a high net worth individual and I can't agree with you more...Your approach makes complete sense to me...but what dissuades me from your service is that I never hear about how you use options? In times like these I use convexity for equity exposure and hunker down in short duration treasuries...

I detected a real sense of frustration for the first time. Ted is usually calm and reflective, able to explain current financial problems. Not so easy this time, he's as angry as us with the continued mishandling of finances by the government, fed, and Wall Street. If Ted can't figure it out, who can?

All norms and decency are gone, we have a 35 trillion dollar deficit and it’s ho hum, 2 wars are going on, most big city buildings are empty, made up worthless crypto is 80,000, new cars are so expensive, Americans can’t afford them, real estate is frozen. Stay liquid, sleep well at night and wait until this whole thing comes crashing down
