I took a ride out there today. It has been on my bucket list for a while now since I saw the KZbin video. I live in Worcester Mass. It took me roughly an hour and 15 minutes each way. I got to say I was not overly impressed. The meat was bland, dry and the portion was small for 8 dollars. The cheese did not disappoint. This saved the whole experience. The burger wasn't horrible, but I was really expecting a big "WOW" factor in the taste and size. Bottom line. Ted's was not worth a 3 hour round trip drive. If you're looking for the best mouthwatering burger, go to HERBIE'S in Worcester Mass. Probably the best burger I've ever had. Absolutely delicious!

What's makes this so special is that it's one of a kinda .... It's the simplicity in it that makes it's so great 💯💯💯 if you looking for a big wow factor or bigger portions this may not be the restaurant for you but I loved it

Since he uses a Vienna roll which is somewhat the texture between a hamburger bun & bagel( at least here they are), I wonder if they have tried to steam just the Vienna roll for appx. a minute or so, my wife is Austrian/German & she said the roll would hold together since the burgers are steamed & not greasy, just a thought folks

Are you getting it with cheese? It's always juicy when I get it as long as it has cheese. Without it can be quite dry.

Mr. Foreman, now that my wife is retired( we are near 60 yrs old) as I am we are planning at least a month long foodie trip to Newark, Atlantic city, Philly, New haven, Maine for lobster rolls & your place, we want to try deep fried/Italian dogs, white house subs & diners, philly cheese steak & pork roast subs, plus your steamed cheese burgers & they look delicious

I would say the cheese gives this burger the flavor needed as they steam the fat out, if you have ever had a smashburger, they use a press tool to keep the fat in the burger & grilled on a flat top on a smear of real butter, they are delicious, fat = flavor , but so does good white cheddar either from Wisconsin or Vermont

Mmm I lived in Meriden for 13 years I love Teds. I now live in Cromwell and I'm 14 and the teds in Cromwell taste nothing like the one is Meriden

When you seer a burger you are seering in what we like to call FLAVOR! The way that Ted's make there burgers, are causing the burger to be DRY and FLAVORLESS!

Louis lunch which is also a great burger! They serve it on toast not a bun. At least thats how it was a year ago or so the last time I went. Ted's is great also. The Vermont cheddar cheese is what makes it so great.

I was born raised in Meriden This place absolutely sucks, the hamburgers are nasty taste like raw meat, cheese sucks fries suck, I moved away after 55 years. I ate there 2 times both times it was the shits right after that.
