Can't express how grateful I am for your videos. At first sight otolaryngology seemed quite boring subject which has a lot to do with classificactions of OM, ear tumors etc... but you emphasise the wonders of hearing mechanism and how falling out of some funcition is expressed in the hearing tests. Thank you sir!!

Dr. Venema...I was wondering if you have investigated "the hum" phenomena that plagues many individuals all over the world and whether you have any thoughts or speculations as to its source or why only certain individuals hear this "hum". For example, I hear the hum but my wife does not and I only hear it in one ear and not both. Physical location does seem to matter as I hear the hum in some locations and not in others. It is very strange and very annoying...
