I don't understand how the audience could ignore the fact that this method could save 15% of the marine fuel consumption. If any point of the speech deserved applause then this one!

First, I have satisfied with the one that shows when the 6 bubbles added together, so a magical cube appears.. And furthermore she gives more and more satisfying things about bubbles and that's what I like it relates with science moreover in our daily life.. And the way she explains is so easy to hear, it's like I'm hearing a storyteller about amazing bubbles can be. So good 👏 lots of thumb up for her.

*The bubble scientist is funny.* Who would have known that bubbles are that useful and funny :-) Passionate teachers can make every subject more fun and interesting. The bubbles under the ship hull can save a lot of fuel and energy. We must incorporate bubble technology into the shipping industry. Great idea ! We can be glad to have such people on our planet !

Another fun application of bubbles - in very cold climates where frost damage is common, engineers will deliberately force bubbles into concrete mixtures used for construction (referred to as air-entrainment), so when water in the concrete freezes (and thus expands), it has “space” within the air bubbles to move into. Without the air bubbles, cracking and therefore concrete failure can occur and cause disastrous effects.

As entertaining & endearing as this lady is, it's not a good idea to insert bubbles into your bloodstream for delivering drugs. That air has nowhere to go when it pops & that messes with your blood pressure & your heart. If a bubble ends up in an IV tube for example, the patient can have have a heart attack. If you want a safe way to deliver drugs precisely inside the body using the blood stream, you want to make a tiny water-baloon of sorts that you can pop from outside, NOT a bubble.
