It definitely did for me..... Love ELO!!! I actually never knew anything of ELO until I accidentally saw an album in a record store in 1974/75...it name of the album was "On The Third Day". I had gone to buy a Chicago album, but I HAD to have the ELO album....I been hooked since that day!!!!!

Saviour of the night came Slowly on the silent river And the lord of life came following His sins to be forgiven While the world sat back And laughed away the hours 'Til the dawning of the daybreak

I'vs been a big fan since got introduced to ELO back in the early 70's by my uncle Henry, sad to say he died 9/02/23. He lives on for me in the most wonderful music we shared and now my love for their music has another element.

JL

There He is, Allah, and no one seems to Care. I saw him live on my 50th birthday. Notice the theme? Allah, the creator. John, the Holy Spirit, right freaking there, man! Who IS a son of man! Be afraid. Be very afraid!

Mike de Albuquerque was bass player in ELO from 1972 to 1974! He left while they were recording their 4th album Eldorado in 74. Jeff brought in Kelly to replace Mike at that time. I don't know why he wasn't on this show.

Yes, Mike De A is seated playing the bass on the opposite side of the stage...the camera seems to avoid him

Oh yeah, KG! Another one for my list of sidemen whose vocals sound bizarrely like their bandleaders'! (Also see Jerry Harrison of Talking Heads, Ian McLagan of Faces etc.)

+Dafydd Llywych-Hwllch I'm not even going to dignify that comment from someone who apparently doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground. Of course they were "miming". it was a simple TV show NOT a concert.
