Don't they look Regal? The emblem of invasion. They came by air, or by sea to give us our freedom. Simply majestic those C47. Whether in RAF or USAF livery, they played an essential role. Perfect tribute to those D-Day Landings in Normandy, so we can be free in return for each and everyone who gave theirs. Respectfully done Ted and Nikos. A Trait of the TCS 🫡👍. One of the most important aircraft of WW2. Without them, things would be very different indeed. There were fighters, there were bombers, but you needed aircraft to haul cargo, transport troops, drop paratroops, tow gliders, and as a flying ambulance. This was most vital

Great stuff to behold. Last summer the C-47 "That's All Brother" and B-17 "Yankee Lady" flew over my home. These are amazing warbirds. Thank you for your channel from a newly subscribed viewer!

As A young boy I visited North Weald air show several times with my parents and it was served by the Central line in those days. Great to see the airfield still in use although sadly not for regular air shows.
