David is young and has stamina of plow horse , he only gets stronger as the fight goes on . I think he will stop Gzovdyk in the later rounds as his power and punches in bunches with relentless pressure will be too much for the older fighter . David wins this fight in my view . If he then gets the winner of Bivol v Beterbiev that will be a war . 50/50 but again David has youth on his side in both of those fights as well.

Gvozdyk was not out of gaz. 37years is not the same than 20-30 years ago... the nutrition, lifestyle, training ect... improve a lot to extend a career in the sport. I will be not surprise if David win. I like him also... but I pick Gvozdyk on this fight even he lost a step because his lack of activities. 168 to 175 is a huge step. The step is much bigger from a 160 going at 168. I follow closely the 175 for years. It's my favorite division. Don't snooze on Gvozdyk. I'm maybe wrong for Gvazdyk but this fight will be one of the best this year 10 times better than the fights of Canelo...

I wish Teddy hadn't picked Gvozdyk, he stole my thunder. Oleksander gave Beterbiev all he could handle when Artur was only 34 and was a real monster at the time. This is one division above where Benavidez has been fighting so I think David has his work cut out for him. Benavidez has beaten some tough guys at 168 but he was tested a bit versus Gavril, Douglin, Angulo and Plant. He didn't exactly run over those guys, and Gvozdyk is a level above them. Gvozdyk took 3 1/2 years off after he lost to Beterbiev. At 36 he's had only 20 pro fights so he should be considered a 'young' 36. The key is whether or not he's still near what he was 5 years ago. He ended the long reign of Adonis Stevenson when he KO'd Adonis after an 8 year run as champion, so he's no slouch. He's still ranked the #1 light heavy in the Ukraine and #5 in the world. I really like Benavidez but I think he may get derailed and hopefully it won't cost him a fight with Canelo if he does. I think Benavidez can beat Canelo. Why Canelo is waiting so long to fight David is a mystery to me. Benavidez keeps getting better and stronger, Canelo is getting older and starting to slide a bit I think. If Benavidez loses to Gvozdyk, that may give Canelo an excuse to never fight David.

Now can someone please explain how either of those fights are gonna get done. When Al Hayman doesn’t let his fighters fight on other network. Because both Bivol and Beterbiev fight on DAZN. Now if I remember correctly, David is on his last fight of his contract. So the only way he’s fighting the winner of those two if he leaves the PBC. I’ve lost respect for Canelo three years David Benavidez has waited. Give him his opportunity chance. If you say you’re the best, then fight the best leave it in the ring more people will respect that than avoiding the fight. I personally believe that David Benavidez stops Canelo or KO’s him before 10 rounds. Canelo needs to stop being a pussy about it.
