Unlike the poor quality of this recording (understandable giving its age), I was at this concert and it was one of the two best concerts that I have ever attended (and I have attended too many to count, given that I am now 76 years "old"). Everyone, no matter their gender, was completely transfixed that evening. Teddy (pse forgive my familiarity) set standards that few, in my opinion, have since met. Sorely missed.

I am just savoring and reminicing the romanticism he bought to our lives. Greatness personified. His life depicted all facets of the human spirit. Glory, beauty, fame, pain, tradegy disappointment, and the will to overcome. Such a wondeful package of the human experience. I love you for reminding me that we all just dust and must live our lives to the fullest and make the best of what life throws at us. RIP Teddy!
@vickiecarter77443 жыл бұрын
@@leslieriley7381 Your post really captures his essence and how closely it aligns with a Greek tragedy. The beautiful young god, uniquely and extraordinarily talented meets with a horrifically cruel fate that alters his life, but unlike the classic tragedy, the god (true to Teddy's type A/Alpha form) rejects sympathy and battles back to reinvent himself as a wiser, more compassionate man in his latter years. His tale and talent are truly for the ages.
