My brotha Dj Yoda Zulu Nation told me a story of a young boy that would go outside with his Casio keyboard and practice outside. Thugs and punks would always bother him but there was a group of people that would stop them from bothering him so he could keep making his beautiful music. This was the story of how the Universal Zulu Nation protected Teddy so he can go on and help make the world a more beautiful place 🤟🏽

Teddy is a legend in his own right, bt Michael was non other than Spectacular!!! Great MJ story, probably the best story I’ve heard of Mike!!! Ppl always diminish Michaels impact on the game because he had a team behind him to produce great music, while other artists such as Prince practically did it on his own, especially with his very first LP “For You”!!! Bt what MICHAELS genius was that he could SING a WHOLE melody, all the music arrangements, he could sing a whole percussion, and he brought forth to the instrumentalists, and producers. Bt they had to play it the way he sang it, if it didn’t correspond to HIS sound, he would keep sustaining until it did!!! Michael was a genius beyond apprehensions!!!

There are four things that make American black music good: 1. It has Gospel Music influence, 2. It has Blues Music influence 3. It has James Brown influence 4. It has Rap Music influence. All 4 of those types of music slowly took over the world in the black community and in many white communities worldwide. White singers and bands like Elvis, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Adele, and The Bee Gees all helped in bringing those 4 black influences into the main white stream. But, black singers and bands like Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Duke Ellington, Little Richard, James Brown, Run DMC, Public Enemy, Tupac Shakur, Biggie Smalls, Nat King Cole, Michael Jackson, The Sugar Hill Gang, Jay Z, Beyonce, Teddy Riley, Sly and The Family Stone, Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, The Motown Groups, Earth Wind & Fire, The Stylistics, The Philadelphia based black groups, The Atlanta based black groups, The Chicago based black groups and even Jimi Hendrix all incorporated some form of the 4 influences of black music which then influenced white music groups to copy them. To this day in 2021, black music dominates the world with those 4 types of black music and influence many artists of all races in the form of Trap Music with artists like the Latin Cardi B, R&B Music which is a mix of Blues and Gospel Music with artists like the half Asian/half Puerto Rican Bruno Mars, Ballads sung by the British singer Adele that have an R&B feel, Regeton with artists like the Colombian J Balvin who Raps in his music, and many other Artists in Pop Music that include featured Rap Cameos and R&B sampling in their songs. Note- James Brown's songs and style (from the 1960s and 70s) are the most sampled songs of any kind of black music in the history of the world. People like Michael Jackson, Usher, Chris Brown, Janet Jackson, 1980s break dancers, and Justin Timberlake have all copied James Brown style of dancing and music. But, if you had to pick who was the epicenter one man that transformed the world with black music it would be Robert Johnson. He was a black man from Mississippi that along with Howlin Wolf, Muddy Waters and eventually B.B. King made Blues Music (which stems from slave workers in the cotton fields of the south of the United States singing in agony from being forced to work while being very tired all day and night) so influential that even white groups and singers in an era of pure racism against minorities started singing Blues (slavery music). After that Gospel, R&B, James Brown and even Rap all took the pain of the Blues into their music styles. Side Note- Robert P. Johnson is another man (not related to Robert Johnson) that created Stride Music which led to Big Band Music of the (1930s, 40s, and 50s). But, that style of music was more considered white music in those days even though many black people also liked it and danced it. Also, another type of music that became big in the white communities of the U.S. was called BeBop in the 1940s which was created by two black musicians Dizzy Gillespie (trumpet) and Charlie Parker on saxophone. But, that too was more white music. Here is the true definition of Blues Music which has changed music all over the world: The term Blues may have come from "blue devils", meaning melancholy and sadness; an early use of the term in this sense is in George Colman's one-act farce Blue Devils (1798). The phrase blue devils may also have been derived from Britain in the 1600s, when the term referred to the "intense visual hallucinations that can accompany severe alcohol withdrawal". As time went on, the phrase lost the reference to devils, and it came to mean a state of agitation or depression. By the 1800s in the United States, the term blues was associated with drinking alcohol, a meaning which survives in the phrase blue law, which prohibits the sale of alcohol on Sunday. Though the use of the phrase in African-American music may be older, it has been attested to in print since 1912, when Hart Wand's "Dallas Blues" became the first copyrighted blues composition....... Ok that may be the white definition of the Blues. Here is the black definition of the Blues. The Blues is what you felt in your heart working on a field all day and night with no rest or sun while the burning sun hit you. That Blues (or sadness or hopelessness) is what black people call the Blues.

Oh wow, my speculation served me correctly on the mystery behind the “madness” of why Mike talks so soft!!! I mean, DUH!!! Of course, that’s why he was so pitch perfect, and very euphonious on his records and even his live voice, excluding HIStory, bt that’s ok cause his presence and dancing was sufficient enough for a magical show!!!

1:32:29 in the demo for Dangerous you can actually hear the gobo wall fall on Michael and he says just keep it playing or something like that.
