LED lights and app technology does not add up to the magic that was the cassette tapes and handheld books. Another added bonus was that you can dress the 80's Teddy in all kinds of clothing, but I'm not too sure if you can with this one.

I am making a storybook DVD where you can watch the stories in different chapters while listening to Teddy Ruxpin. I am almost done with it. When it is ready, I'll give you a copy. Because to be honest with you, I am not a fan of having the storybooks on app only.

Yuck! Those eyes! I am totally blind, but just from your description, I am entirely deterred from buying this product. Even the Furbies with LCD eyes have a little screen thing that comes down in front of them when they go to sleep. Wow! How cheap is that? Just out of curiosity, can anybody tell me what do you see when his eyes or off? Is it a blank screen,or can you see into his head? LOL!
