Perhaps you should check out the original by George Strait, as well as some of his other songs, if you havent already. Write This Down, All My Exes Live in Texas, Carrying Your Love Withe Me are a few, he has many hits. Not sure if it's really your kind of music, but he has a nice deep voice that you would probably like.

This is a good cover of the song. However I think I like the original version better. Teddy leaving out the third verse was kind of a let down. Otherwise an amazing cover.

Alright everyone Yes George Strait does the original much better, but majority of originals are always better than the cover version. Teddy did a very good R&B version. My opinion better than the version Jamie Foxx did. I recommend doing a reaction to the Shania Twain Your Still the One cover Teddy recently did.

Better sounding than the original, George straight cuts the words too short so he doesn’t have to carry a tone. Then again country singers have never been known for the vocal agility or range. With a few exceptions of course.

I disagree with all the critics of Teddy’s version, I love the huskier, less twangy sound of Teddy’s version. I just checked out George Strait’s original, so I can say I definitely like this better. I’m not a fan of twang country music, just sayin,,,although I have loved some George Strait in the past.

People need to understand that Teddy is not trying to be strictly a county western singer. He can sing any genre, but he ALWAYS sings with soul and from the heart. He seems to do R & B best IMHO. He has written some really good fun pop songs, "Picky" and "Broke" (he has a great sense of humor). Also, check out three more of his original songs, "Amazing" "Please Turn Green" and my favorite, "Bed on Fire" -- I prefer the stripped version. Enjoy.
