The Taiwanese government broke its promise and did not give the indigenous peoples the right of autonomy; it also failed to equally distribute taxes to the indigenous peoples, allowing them to live a life of fend for themselves, which led to human trafficking. The indigenous peoples are the owners of this land, and there is no The reason is to pay taxes to the new government, this is my opinion

@@yuyuchen1683nope,no single human “owned” the land. So the indigenous don’t have to pay taxes thoughts are not gonna work.
A big hug to Claire.😢 It’s very impressed to see a girl viewing things around so clearly and logically even after all such terrible childhood experience. Claire definitely deserves better. 經歷了這麼多可怕的事,價值觀沒有歪掉根本人間清醒。Claire 你很棒、超棒,相信你一定能走向精彩屬於自己的人生。
Taiwanese education system seriously failed this girl. Someone need to call CPS on her parents too. She went through so much, but major respect for her toughing it through and turning her pain into art.
As the father of a mixed kid (now four years old) whose marriage also fell apart when my daughter was only two, this is my worst nightmare. Fear of an outcome like this has been why I have refused to walk away from my daughter’s life, even though it meant making many personal sacrifices. We have to make sacrifices for our children: that’s how it works. Life throws us things we didn’t expect. In this young woman’s case, it seems like the adults in her life were more interested in their own needs and not her well-being. The stepfather, mother, and father all seem to have failed her. And sadly, the education and social services system don’t seem to have helped much, either. My heart goes out to her.

Man I feel bad for what she went through, but glad she turns out fine 😂 Thanks for sharing the stories!!
Very fascinating story and I believe this young girls story is going to help many young kids who may have the similar experience but are currently struggling. Bless her and everyone
Ha, I’m not mixed, but also spent a portion of my childhood in the US, resulting in English sorta becoming half of my native tongue, and I definitely find English to be the language I prefer. After returning to Taiwan, and even tho I went to a public school’s bilingual class, it was still very tough and everything heavily focused on grades, so I often had the lowest grades. I also retreated into my own bubble of extracurricular novels. Guess I sorta understand how she felt. It can be very depressing and lonely.

First say sorry! Thank you for sharing your experience. You are not the only one. I don’t think it’s a surprise. Taiwan is like this. Taiwan is political, and it has also been affected by it, and achievements have become two extremes. Don't think that this has nothing to do with the growth experience you mentioned; rather, it is because there are ignorant people. Modern Taiwanese feel this way, which is really a kind of ignorance. I cheer for the people of Taiwan to come forward! I feel sorry for her, come on! Now Taiwan has made a lot of progress... 抱歉!她的過去遭遇,跟是不是外國人血統,根本無關。即便是現代,還是需要、為台灣人民主加油👍

Are you kidding me ?? Taiwan has made a lot of progress ?? Where did you get that complacency from ?? Just because Taiwan people can vote ?? What Claire has been through is all about the level of the civilization of this island where people here always claim themselves kind, friendly and well-mannered with successful democratic transformation. However, are we really that good ? Just take a look at how we discriminate aboriginies, immigrants and even those who their parents came to Taiwan after 1949. Come on ! If this is not racism, what else ?? Politicians in this island have been indoctrinating everyone such racism in the name of protecting Taiwan's intergrity and democracy. I don't buy this Taiwan democracy BS !!!
