Looks like you've missed the AIM ability doubling the range. It is freakin helpful dealing with rats' nests far away. Also using two archers with the knock-back bow really synergies with the barrage on both of them: you just put first the barrage, wait for the enemy to come into the barrage range, hit him with a second bow advancing with extra hit from the barrage, put a second barrage and on the next turn repeat the procedure with a first bowman and so on. Having 3 archers and taking galvanize on one of them makes this just an incredible team with almost no valour points issues.

I found the infantryman to be amazing when combined with any knowckback abilities. Arm of justice and impale are favorites, but upgraded smokebomb is the best. It knockbacks everyone, easily capitalizing on the 4 attacks, and gives an attack of oportunity to whoever was shielding the archer

Yeah and the new strategy table with the improved opportunity attack has made it even better.

Upgrades vigilance is 4 improved shot for 2 points this is great

It is certainly in the works, but man leveling is slow. We'll be looking at lvl 8 builds and animals soon.

27:43 there are enough rat infestations on the map to brew 30+ potions, but there are only 8 alazarian powder on the map enough to make 4 sharpening oil only. That's the real limitation

I just use a bear... Hes so strong and usefull and you dont need to repair stuff... Just once a while a healing pot. And attack order a near is good dmg for 1 valor point ^^

Honestly i do enjoy beastmaster a lot animal really bring interesting stuff. something you forgot to tell is that "rats" take as much space as a normal soldier only eat 2 piece and not wider like wolf boar and bears... Also wolf beeing very good for attack with wolf pack or support with gard. and bleed on unarmored target can helpoa lot vs other animals or to finish humans. Board are the least interesting i find, but they can be sturdy(thick skin) and later in game since they come with extra level can be directly be butchered for extra meat than if you kill them in battle. Bear are monstruous. Also if you have multiple beasttamer with mastered beastmatery they all heal your animal byt 5% when one finish its turn. It can get pretty ridiculous.

I play with four wolves that i pack the colser i can of the ennemy bowmans, and near them a swordman with the armor buff. Before sending them i give them the buff to help them survive

After crafting the Longbow the upgraded bow to craft is called Bow of the Brave for me.

Honestly, unless you got these legendary items, the bowmen are a waste of space and turns. I had my best run with melees only (3 assassins with smoke bombs are op), and It was fun too. Made 10k in a few hours and pretty much ran over everyone

what armor does the archer wear you failed to mention that in your video. Im newer to wartales and havent been able to find the armor they wear.

When you pick a subclass it will tell you what armor they have available. Archers have to wear light armor. Classes that are able to wear heavier armors are able to wear all lighter types as well.

How can you craft "the bow of the brave" i only see two model of bow in the crafting unlockable. And only one 2h mace ... My brute is falling behind a lot.

Bow of the brave is the name of the higher level bow you can craft. For the brute I'm pretty sure there is a higher level 2h as well. Otherwise if you don't want to use Lucilla or the mace from the ruins of Arthes I recommend going to a 1h mace. The mercenary enemy configuration has some fun ones to pick up.

Just DONT take beast mastery. AI controlled animals does not use valor points to cast their skills, while if u controll them, u use valor points. Not mentioning that my bears on AI sometimes pulls out 4 attacks in a row and i have NO idea how to do it while manually controlling them.

Animals cost too much food and are to weak in HP, to make beast master effective

Btw I've found it difficult to find a good archer in taverns\prisons, especially with AIM ability included. I thing it will make a good addition to your guides covering: - the classes you can initially start the game with; - the teammates classes you can join for free and where to find 'em; - the teammates you should be looking for in taverns\prisons to complete the "dream-team" synergy. For instance, I'm never hiring any rangers (rogues?) as there are at least two of them joining for free (one of which has 2nd alchemist prof as well)

You can get books that will teach anyone the basic abilities from the black market agents you will see at cleared bandit lairs after you reach level 4 in the path of crime and chaos. I will certainly be revisiting these guides when we get the level cap increase so I'll try and cover some of the recruitment logistics.

Yes you can, though I've seen people testing it on the Reddit claim horse shoes are currently bugged and have no effect.

You get skill mastery books that will upgrade abilities. There are a few hidden around, but the main way to get them is win smotts arena and then you get access to a shop that sells them.

for the reinforce arrow upgrade, is it both crit% and crit dmg, or just crit dmg? i think the best candidate for captain/lieutenant is the ranger, they already have the highest movement to begin with, and if you go with the upgraded knife throw perk they get even crazier mobility to get the most value out of those skills

My understanding is the arrow upgrade only increases crit damage. The ranger certainly is a good captain/lieutenant.
