Good work and thanks for the details. I'm about to get an M2P so really appreciate the review. I live in Corktown so also appreciate your mentioning the CYTZ clearance thing. (I took down the ATC number from this vid ;) ). For as much as I've flown (to date) I picked up a Mini (when they came out) and stay pretty much under the radar, so far. [A humorous aside... my next door neighbour (happens to have a Spark...he doesn't much fly) was at Ashbridge's Bay on that gorgeous day we had recently...and said he saw someone with a drone when he was at the park. I bet it was you...?!?] Anyway, great stuff. Keep up the good work. Oh... your COVID T.O. shots I also appreciated... IF a little bleak...but I guess that's part of it?!!!! AND.... further to the COVID thing... a different friend told me HIS buddy was flying in Riverdale park last weekend and the police gave him a $1,000. ticket!!!! I have no idea what was the problem...but BE CAREFUL out there.

Nice! The Mavic Mini is 1g under the minimum weight required to be registered and also must have Transport Canada Basic Operations Certificate. Any drone over 250g must be registered with Transport Canada, and must have Basic or Advanced operations licence. I'm currently a Basic Operations Certified and hold other certifications with pilot ground schools. I'm currently working on my advanced certificate, so I must use city shots I took prior to the new rules that came out on June 1st, 2019. And wow that's crazy! That might have been me, maybe it wasn't.... a lot of people near the beaches own drones. Anyhow, I really appreciate your feedback and I am really glad this video helped. I'll make sure to make more videos like this. Also, yes, I shot the COVID Toronto ground shots in SLOG3 and just peeped up the highlights and the shadows without giving it any artificial colour in post production, to achieve that eerie cinematic look. And I'm sorry to hear about your friend! He must have an advanced operations certificate to fly in riverdale and must submit a request to NAV Canada before flying in controlled & uncontrolled airspaces. My channels is all about M2P so make sure to subscribe and ring that bell if you find my videos helpful! Cheers,

Yes...any day now (Hmmmmm... maybe today?) I'll write the basic test and register my drones (3)...even the Mini. I live literally 100' inside the authorization zone for CYTZ, and St Mike's Heliport... still possible to fly with Basic, on the other side of the street...AND I got DJI to unlock me and fly indoors... with Mavic Mini.... so long as no problems....no problems... but I'll feel much better when I get my Advanced. You'll have to hook me up with your flight reviewer. Thanks.

If I understand you correctly, you can set your waypoints during the flight and observe the environment where there are obstacles and thus have to adjust the height of the waypoint. Correct?
@edwardfigura3 жыл бұрын
Hi Rudy thanks for your comment! That’s correct. Always make sure to be aware of your surroundings before performing ANY automated missions, as well as always keeping VLOS (visual line of sight) during automated, and manual flights!

Another great video! One question I have is to ask if there is a way to change the altitude in multiple waypoints together, rather than going into them separately? So I have 20 waypoints set on a mission and then I want to change the altitude, surely I don’t have to click on each one to adjust them so they are all the same?
@edwardfigura4 жыл бұрын
This is another great question that I haven’t practiced yet. But my guess is that you do in fact need to adjust every single waypoint’s altitude individually for safety reasons. If you don’t see an option there to set them all to a designated height, then you most likely need to set every individual one. Please let us all know in the comment section if you figure out otherwise!
