WNS is very different than much of what is described in this video. it is a cold loving fungus that disrupts bats in hibernation. And I believe another threat to bats is noise pollution. Which can cause bats to navigate poorly and end up crashing into stuff more often. And noise pollution can even disturb their sleep even during winter. This can cause them to wake up during the day, and they may not be able to eat and then they can crash into stuff and get injured. Noise pollution is also a problem for elephants, wildcats and even owls and other wildlife.

Man, I really wish this video got a little more specific and went a little more in-depth, talking about things like specific viruses and species of bats. But damn was that animation good.

Bats are super cool! When i was smaller and learned about bats i was always defending them from people who spoke bad about them haha They are fascinating, and very cute :)
