These guys have taken the Allman Brothers formula to the next level. This is a stage jam packed with talent, creativity and Mojo. WOW is an understatement. And they Kill it every time, go see them live.

That's a stage full of great talent , they have the ability to take any song, shake it up a little, and pour it out as something brand new. If that don't get your feet moving , check your pulse.

Derrick never copied Duane, he played around all of Duane’s riffs. It’s a tribute of love and respect…Derrick never assumed himself to be better than those that went before him. Every performance is a tribute to those that showed him the way. He must be an amazing man.

I hope they got their ducks in a row. The band sounds great but they are infringing on Eric Clapton's Music now. Yes, he played this with Duane, but this is not necessarily an Allman brother band song. Gotta give due to those who passed, but not at the expense of those still alive. Just sayin'. And Yes I know all about Derek and the Domino's.
@maxbonaccorsi79074 жыл бұрын
im sure clapton takes this as a compliment... he did have derek back him up for one of his huge tours
@lateralus7474 жыл бұрын
It’s funny that is your take away from this. There is a storied history of musicians playing other living musicians music...jazz and blues being a huge one. Something tells me Eric is going to be just fine with TTB doing what they do with the music Eric wrote. It just proves that good music is a living, breathing thing. If it wasn’t, tonal westernized music would have died out about 250+ years ago with J.S. Bach.
@JLH19564 жыл бұрын
@@lateralus747 You know what Chad? I understand that. It's like Eric Clapton playing a Bob Dylan song at the Bob Dylan 30th anniversary, and totally blowing away Bob with his playing. I was only concerned with others just taking Allman stuff now that Greg is gone. But one must carry on the legend, right?
