Been a fan of ST for quite a while. Also Derrick Trucks too! Saw DT in the very early 90s during the summer playing a few songs with Greg Allman. This guy was only 16 at the time, and OMG! I was blown away! Was fortunate to see him again the very next weekend as solo artist at a nightclub in Augusta GA! I was blown away with his talent at that young of an age. I was really happy when he teamed up and ultimately married ST! They are still playing and performing together and doing it very well! They've only gotten better through the years and they have played with some of the best musicians over the years! I'll keep listening!

I am glad Bob has become the elder statesman of Rock and Roll. He couldn't have made a better decision than to sit in with Derick and Tedeschi.

This vid would have been way cooler if you had figured out how to get me in the frame. I was WAY more stage left, lol... what a fucking festival this was, though. Most fun I ever had, I daresay! worth the however-many-hour drive from Illinois without a doubt!

And really, I can barely listen to Key To The Highway anymore (as a gigging musician)

Bob Weir is a pain in the ass. I can only describe him as "weak" .. He seems to be winging it .. ALL of the time. His vocals, as well as his leads, seem to "peter out" most of the time. It's like he's "dragging" the song along behind him, like some caveman and his bride.

I see your point, to a point. But you liked the video. In fact you like a lot of things. Lou Dobbs Fox News Marianne Williamson Qanon. Speaking of winging it.

Not making excuses for Bob, but I just did some quick math. The guy has been on stage collectively for 14,317 hours (yeah and it can show). He’s brought so much to so many lives so he’s great to see on stage. TTB is worth the price of admission and Weir is extra gravy. Oh to be human.

Dragging “Like some caveman and his bride…” Good image… Well put… However You want Bob Weir in this world and on stage because they are far too many uptight players and overly self conscious performers unable to jam
