When I was 17, had a crush on this girl. We had been classmates since middle school and she was gorgeous, like out of my league gorgeous. Never had a clue that she liked me the whole time. Finally, like teenage girls do, she told a friend so it would get back to me. Asked her out, she said yes, picked her up in my stepdad's thunderbird, and did the standard "movie and Pizza Hut". (as was customary back then) On the way home, in my infinite wisdom I played this song. We both missed curfew that night. Thank you Uncle Ted for writing the most romantic song in history.

I got the privilege of seeing this awesome talent . It was an outdoor venue and a four band line up. Slaughter, Night Ranger and one other before Ted went on. Saw him in the 1970’s at the Hollywood Sportatorium! One of the best live shows I have ever seen and I went to hundreds and hundreds of shows! Back then it was like $12.00 for a concert ticket and $6.00 for a t-shirt! The good old days. Nugent rocked! I love Derek's solo and the way Ted slowly rises out of the feedback to do his counter-solo. Cat Scratch Fever was a perfect album second only to his self titled 1975 solo debut. Both of which I still listen to to this very day and usually start an entire evening of picking thru all my Nugent albums, even his recent releases. He's got a remarkable body of work that taken as a whole feels like you're on a journey. Long Live Uncle Ted!

A girl I know got me a backstage pass and.I met Ted for a couple hours in '88 after a concert. Before we went back, Ted's road manager said Ted was sick and had a 104 degree temp. I asked Ted if he was sick when he went onstage and I'll never forget his well-articulated response that included the "natural medicine of Rock and Roll" and a lesson about being self-employed and keeping commitments. I was 19 and I honestly didn't expect Ted to be nearly as intelligent, kind, and grounded as he is. I met Ted again at an NRA event in St. Louis in 2003.

Guitar Player i had friend Tom Williams who has since passed away, but his favorite rock story encounter was when he ran into Ted in the men’s room at some California amp theatre, he says i’m pulled up to the urnal & who pulls up next to him in next urnal, Ted Fuckin Nugent, my buddy says, i don’t want to make eye contact ( mens room etic lol ) but he knows he is never gonna get the chance again so he asks Ted, “ Sir i know you get a lot of stupid questions about guitar, being a rock star, i would’nt take up your time in a mens room with that trivial bullshit, but i do have one question for you? Ted, Go for what cha know, ( right off a Pat Travers album) Tom asks what do you think of a 357 magnum. Ted “That’s a damn fine ladies gun” one of my fav stories

I've seen Sweaty Teddy, Terrible Ted, Uncle Ted or the motor city madman at least 30 times. He never disappoints. He rocks hard. Back in the late 70s he was so graceful jumping around, full speed ahead. All 30 shows were different. Even the ones I seen him twice in a year in the same venue.

Great version of this killer love song. Nice guitar duel with the very underrated Derk St Holmes. I saw this band in 77 and blew me away. Still a big Nugent fan and will be seeing him again this summer 45 year and one day later. this guy gives you more energy and entertainment per dollar than any other band I have ever seen and that includes Zeppelin and Floyd

Uncle Ted came to Bethlehem PA in 2012 as part of a Midwest Rock 'n' Roll Express Tour with Styx. How I missed it is beyond me. I adored the Amboy Duke's big hit when it came out in 1968.

Ted is my second favorite of all time singer and entertainer in life. My all time favorite singer and entertainer in life is David Lee Roth. I love when people interact with the audience.
