I was taught that a square knot(råbandsknop) should "only" be used for tying packages. If you need to tie together two ropes, you should be using a sheet bend(skotstek). This is also what we teach the kids in our scouting group

Great overnighter Ted, tarp is nice now before the mosqitos wake up 😂. Liked that meal, looks like my favorite. Onion, bacon and eggs, some bread and cowboy coffee. Works both as dinner and breakfast 🤠👌🏻. I was like whaaaat when i saw the vette in the end, could have been yours brother!

Thanks again for another video Ted. I like to alternate between a tent (Soulo), hammock (Amok) and tarp (DD 3x3) to have the different camping experiences. In woods I tend to use the Amok or tarp and use the tent on the hills. Unfortunately in the current situation I live too far away from the hills and woods but I do live very near the sea, so beach walks (with the dog) are my current escape method! Kammok is the company that has all the hammock/tent/tarp gear. Fjallraven does not have much camping gear available, just backpacks...not that I care very much although I like the Polar sleeping bag...and a hammock if they even make them.

Fjällräven has a number of tents and at least two tarps, it would be interesting to see a bigger gear section from them!
