TEDxEast INTERCONNECTIVITY - 11.11.10: - Shohei Shigematsu- Super specific
Shohei Shigematsu gives a fascinating talk about his insights as an architect and the various projects that he has designed around the world. His observations are that across the world buildings are becoming more monotone in nature on the inside. For him, an architect who focuses on being "superspecific", this movement of "packaged" buildings needs to be rethought. Shohei Shigematsu is a trailblazing architect who has worked on projects for the Whitney Museum and the Shenzhen Stock Exchange headquarters in China. He is a visiting critic at Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
