Kareem Sami is a senior medical student at Ain Shams University, and he is founder of ESS (Egypt Sarcasm Society)
Driven by his obsession with understanding and analyzing people's behavior, Kareem tells the story of ESS through its core concept for him: the demonstration urge, what beings people together and makes them a majority or a minority in any given society.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
