Corey explains how karma affects us, not because some supernatural force keeps score, but because the actions we take have direct consequences for our quality of life and for the world we get to live in. Unfortunately, many altruists treat karma as trade or sacrifice; they take on a “give to get” mentality that always yields a net loss. Instead of a trade, treat karma as an investment, and we will reap incredible returns.
Corey Lerch (Class of 2008) believes in solving problems, building relationships, and above all, relentless learning. He owns and operates his own independent financial planning practice where his success depends on all three of those habits. Corey also tutors in his spare time across a wide range of ages and subjects. Through Toastmasters and now TEDx, Corey speaks to millennials about attitudes critical to success in the new economy.
