No we don't we ain't America, most British don't follow a god we see the truth, or most Christians just follow the happiness comfort of not being alone instead of the religion. the prophet of Muslims mohammed married a kid or so it is written, the Christian God committed geneside on the whole world in a huge flood because of some crimes. Who in their right mind needs to follow these. And the reason Britain tries to make it hard for anybody who believes in other god to preach because the land was built on Christianity, the national anthem is 'God save our queen' I respect any person who respects the land and so do alot of people now, there is full Muslim community's that never hit the news because they are good community's. But you guys only pick up on the bad 20 thousand people not the 40million good people that are happy with diversity

When he describes being in service station and other such places, I could really relate. I love being British and British values mean the world to me. But I happen to be Asian and therefore have never fully felt like I belong and mainly because I feel like when I am in the football stadium or the shopping centre, I feel in a very subtle way that I'm different and it's difficult to explain unless you have been in a brown persons shoes. I don't have a massive beard and I wear jeans and all the rest. But I always feel uneasy about going to places where I might be one of the only brown faces. Having said that, British white people are generally amazing.

what you're feeling is quite normal. peoples natural instincts allow them to understand they're not apart of the "tribe" so to speak. I'm an English guy who lived in japan for 10+ years, i learned to speak the language fluently and engaged in the customs and culture of the Japanese people. I always felt like an outsider no matter what; they even had their own subtle ways of letting me know that too. i learned to live with the fact it's human nature to have an in group preference.

It really won't, would a man speaking about Christianity change people's mind about the religion in Syria? Pritty sure people like that get killed over their all the time. Just be happy with diversity we don't wanna bring religion into it that's when wars start. Why can't we all just do good for the people in the community and on the land and mind everyone else's business?

am a very much british person and proud of it. I think the main the reason for people thinking they arent integrating enough comes from, they dont speak english in a public space. This seems to be an issue with a lot of people and when you dont know or understand whats been said then its

Isn't that the case when most British people go on their holidays to countries around the world? They're not speaking their language, Britain isn't the main country in the world
@stardust53974 жыл бұрын
I’m in my early 60s & forty odd years ago I assumed the Asian and white populations of Blackburn would become far more integrated. I’ve worked with Asians & taught young Asians & Whites in Blackburn & it saddens me that two young communities at College have become ever more separate whilst areas of Blackburn have become almost exclusively Asian. It’s not what I wanted to see but as you say it ‘takes two to tango ‘ & the Asian community has made very little effort to move outside of their own communities ; whilst at the same time ‘ white flight’ takes place as locals perceive they are becoming the minority in a given area. I will not begin to deny that overt racism has taken place against Muslims & is deplorable. Likewise after splitting with my Son his partner & my 6 year old Granddaughter moved into a small new social housing development of small 1/2 bedroom townhouses in a predominantly Muslim area. She’s in her late 20s but has a ‘baby face ‘ that could pass for teens . Whilst walking to and fro school and the shops with my granddaughter she is regularly abused by groups of young Asian men as they are unhappy that several single parent families have been homes in+this new development and they point her out as a ‘school age single mum with loose morales’ into although the words are far more graphic and foul than that. I find it even more disturbing that on occasion this abuse is heard by their elders who often mix outside their front doors on early summer evenings & it goes without challenge even though a young child is involved. So, maybe it’s payback time for the abuse Asians have received in the past & proving that sections of each community are capable of behaving just as hatefully as the other . I’ve urged her to move but her attitude is it’s a lovely little house with garden, near school and shops so why should I let morons like that bother me!
