Raghu Raman talks about the biases and stereotypes that haunt us in today's world. And how we as humans are wired to react to these biases when confronted.
Raghu Raman has possibly one of the most unique career profiles spanning over 25 years. He spent eleven years as an officer in the Indian Armed Forces , followed by another eleven years in the corporate sector before joining the Government as CEO of the National Intelligence Grid.
Raghu is a Distinguished Fellow at the Observer Research Foundation, a frequent guest faculty in business schools, keynote speaker and columnist on National Security Strategy and Leadership in leading publications. He is also the author of “Everyman’s War” - a book published by Random House.
This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at ted.com/tedx

Do a deep check on your surroundings and be a change it will make a change... don't put on the responsibilities on others...just do it.....

I saw more cunning officials for some reasons and I am also at times in situations, and reflections and imitations were raised. May be the officials helped to learn, lost is lost in race. Mental fight is not clear as physical. Luck also should have worked for the persons like you. You claimed every small step stones and paved way. Great to hear your speech. Truly motivational and inspirational. Educating and to be practical requires lot of application knowledge.

There is not alway coin of a side while I agree everything that is being said but u don't sit and let anybody slaughter there should be combination of both tibbetean didn't create any problem to China yet Chinese captured decimated their culture and population it's easy to argue this when u are safe but too much of following of one idea will also be harmful India didn't invade Islamic territories in past yet they get attacked tortured and yet only when India became United and power ful enough those attacks reduced it's easy to forget past and be looking forward as it should be but one one must also remember other side of coin one cannot go each individual and ask for their affinity and people who are powerful make rules not weak ones doesn't matter if they are good innocent and morally correct and I agree as society we should stop stereotyping but one also must not forget for that to be completely successful other side also have to stop and u cannot make stop other side of you are weak

I have also read constitution of India, surprisingly not the prime minister has power but president has. Constitution unite all India and give security to all citizens to all ppl. Harmony is what exterior forces try to destroy or sometime interior also. But India and it's govt should focus on improving living standard of ppl, health care, infrastructure, industrial and farming etc

Excellent sir. That's the endurance we need to have in our young generation people, instead of trapping into some fake news which is obviously spread to make differences between two different communities. The psychological factor does play a crucial role in differentiating the people identity. It definitely takes the suddenly affirmation part of our result which we often think when we are in some fear. Salutes sir for teaching the most seemingly complicated topic with an ease.
