Stefano is the author of 'The School for Gods' and 'A Dream for the World'. He is also the founder of "Future Leaders for the World" program, which aims inspire specially selected students to be future leaders through guiding with teachings about unlimited love for freedom, sense of perfection and being a part of an indestructible unity.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. I met Prof D'Anna back in ESE Milano when I was just 18 years old, his teachings changed my life forever. I have so much to thank thim, for opening my mind to the true knowledge: the one that is within, as the world is just a miror of our thoughts.

The book "The School for Gods" written by Stefano D'Anna was a real revelation for me! Then I met the writer, a real gentleman, a man with a great vision. Now he is gone but his idea is still alive in many hearts. Thanks Stefano!

indeed, i was a student at ESE when he was the Dean, and i remember his lectures. Even if at that time i was not sure about what he meant, i realised over the years what he wanted to teach us and I am grateful for his teaching and ideas. I knew he passed away years ago, and i am sad that his memory is not celebrated enough.

Do you know who really wrote the book? It seems there are two men claiming it... Stefano and Elio (who looks in the pictures very different from Stefano in this Ted Talk...) Very strange, I was loving the book and wanted to know more about the author and realise there are two different people claiming to be the author! It put me down! @@dumitrescugeorgiana4163

bu konuşmayı yaptığı sırada kanser tedavisi görüyormuş ve bir kaç ay sonra da ölmüş. gençliğinde eşinin vefatından sonraki travması ise şu haberde buldum.. Kitabın Türkiye'deki telif hakları için kardeşi Stefano E.D'anna'ya dava açan Elio D'anna o günlerde mahkemede “Bu kitabı ben yazdım. Ancak yazarı Stefano gözüküyor. Stefano'nun yazılmasının sebebi, kardeşimi daha yüksek göstermek ve yüceltmekti” dedi. Kitap için hâkim karşısına “davacı” sıfatıyla çıkan Elio D'anna, 1980'de filozofik düşünceyle okul kurmak için İstanbul'dan İtalya'ya döndüğünü anlattı. Yaklaşık 30 yıllık düşüncenin sonucunda dönem dönem derlediği dokümanlardan oluşan bu kitabın 2001'de kitap haline dönüştüğünü iddia etti. Kardeşinin mahkemedeki açıklamalarını “üzücü” diye cevaplayan Prof. Dr. Stefano D'anna ise kardeşinin aksine kitabın yazarının kendisinin olduğunu iddia etti. Stefano D'anna, “Öz kardeşimin buraya gelip yemin altında doğru olmayan ifadeler kullanmasına çok üzüldüm. 30 yıllık birlikte çalışmanın sonucunda burada sadece açgözlülük etmektedir. Kitabın karakterini biyografim oluşturduğu halde bunu kendisi oluşturmuş gibi söylemesi de çok üzücüdür. Bu kitabı ben yazdım. Telifleri de ben aldım. Kardeşim kitabı okumamıştır bile” dedi. Prof. D'anna'nın avukatı Barış Kaşka, “Davacı hak sahibi olduğunu kanıtlayamamıştır. Kitabın hak sahibi müvekkilimdir” dedi. Prof. Stefano D'anna'yı haklı bulan mahkeme, davanın reddine karar verdi. D’Anna’nın yakınları dava sonrası yazarın hastalandığının konuşulduğunu söyledi.

Is this man the same than Elio d'Anna? if not, maybe his brother, why are they claiming the same book? are they both authors?

Stefano and Elio were brothers, Prof. Stefano D'anna died some years ago, and he wrote and published the book in 2002. After Stefano died, Elio claimed the authorship of the book and since then it is like this. no idea why.
