This applies to everyone except those with certain disabilities. My passion is hockey, but I had to quit at 13 due to serious heart conditions. Now all I can do is skate around and shoot pucks at a net, without overexertion. I was so talented I had teams wanting my parents to move up north so I could play and it was all pulled from my grasp. Not every disability can be overcome so easily, especially when the thing keeping you alive is the problem.

It's very hard to follow your passion when everybody in the world is telling you to follow a more "practical" path. It's something that I think about a lot as I'm still figuring out what i should do with my life at 26 years old. Part of me thinks it is too late to do certain things and that I'm too far down certain paths to change, but I also know that's usually not true. But it is scary to divert from something certain to something uncertain. This talk wasn't revolutionary by any means, but I think it's a conversation people need to encounter often, and I hope that these types of conversations are able to shift society into a state where people dont have to feel trapped in a life devoid of passion.

I'm pushing 40 and I'm still in this boat of "IDK what I want to do" It's much easier to switch it up when you don't have kids or a wife that depend on you to make money and carry insurance. Best bet is to take the plunge into something you love now while/if you can. Aaron is right, in 2019 you can pretty much do anything and make money if you have enough passion to make it work.

This is the one of inspiring thing I've heard. This is something I needed to hear. Thank you very much! Due to pandemic I lost my job as being a tour guide, and it will take months or years to recover. I desperately didn't want to go to work at the office, cause I feel like a free bird. I bought 2 weeks ago a skateboard, began to learn it at the age of 29. And this video inspired me to do what I love to do. It's music, making a videos, write. Learn new things like a skateboard. And don't know why I always afraid to do these things. Thank you so much. This was the best 16 minutes in 2020!!!

Nice to see this side of Aaron (not that it's in the least bit surprising) after 3 months of solid back to back Braille channel viewing - you have a fan in me Aaron, I've seen in my own life how when you give back sincerely it furthers your own developments and programs in the background, if you wont take it from the Bible take t from Aaron - it works, not giving to get, giving out of an abundance of passion which in turn gives back to you, that's really living a meaningful life and precious few get it right.
