Roberto has consulted with or taught in the leadership development programs at many leading firms including Google, Apple, FedEx, Target, Morgan Stanley, Mars, and Disney. He also has delivered presentations at government organizations including the U.S. Special Operations Command, U.S. Military Academy at West Point, NASA, Air War College, Naval War College, and the Environmental Protection Agency. It's helpful in business scenarios, yeah, but when you do it talking to your friends or family it just feels painful. You don't always need to beat others down

I politely disagree. If there's no space for discussing anything or creating better solutions just because somebody's feelings get hurt easily, there's no out of comfort experience, no expanding perspectives, no challenge, no growth whatsoever, just a boring status quo. And before getting offended, everybody should objectively look at their "values" and argue in their favor. So forgive me if I say that having at least someone who can debate an opposite viewpoint. That's the only way to actually use your brain afterall. There has to be even the slightest conflict

Unfortunately these people just don't get how oppositional they come across and when they do it with family and friends they come across as someone who is invalidating someone's experience or feelings.

​@annaliesestalonne7011 I'm sorry but you're not even aware of the words you are using...you used challenge, you used debate...no one wants to be around someone constantly challenging them or debating them...
