What a wonderful explanation and solution for a negative mindset of stutterer. Definitely going to implement it ❤️❤️🙌🙌🤗.

One of the best talks I've heard. Time to reframe and change those belief systems! As a stutterer it took me a long time to face this vulnerability and accept this is who I am.

Very inspiring and motivating. I am a stutter and you have addressed my problems: avoiding public speech, not believing in myself and believing I am abnormal. I wish I have a speech therapist here in Nigeria. I hope to speak like you one day

What has helped me tons is reading the book How To Run Your Own Life by Jut Meininger (as long as I apply it I eliminate it completely) (when you read it you'll realize that you have to turn off your Adapted Child state and little by little train your Parent state so your Adapted child doesn't intervene)... you can download it (they don't print it anymore)

She stated early in her talk that the NLP System "worked for her." Every stutterer is different, with different beliefs, experiences, and causes of their speech problems. It's a complicated problem which has taken years to work through. I don't think she would claim what helped her would, with certainty, help everyone. I'm a 65 year old who has stuttered my whole life. I'm going to check out the NLP System, with hope it could help. Basically, what has helped me cope with stuttering is to finally not give a damn what others think about my stuttering. There are days when I'm fluent and days when I'm not. I live with it. I have NO control over other people's reactions and attitudes. But, I can work to control how I react and choose to move through the world. I've needed thick skin to survive and not allow other's negativity to drag me down.

@@REM1956 💯 facts is to not care what others think and not let their reactions have a reaction as to how one sees themselves. We have good days and bad days. Live each day to the fullest! God bless!!
