For everyone who wants to know how to deal with greed: In the Netherlands we have a bank called ABN Amro, the government bought the bank during the crisis, and this is financed with tax money. Last month it became public that ABN Amro would give an increase of 17% in salary(because bonuses are not allowed anymore under the European Law), and the CEO justified it. An interesting phenomenon happend: It became a hot topic in newspapers, social media, television and there was so much social pressure, even from people working at the bank, that it was not ethical. Finally they turned down the raise in salary, and this is how social pressure can overcome greed. It takes 20 years to build a reputation, and only 2 minutes ruin it. Especially with our highly interconnected societies, social pressure is key for changing everything.

Reciprocal altruism...would be pretty amazing for businesses to start implementing this concept that is the source and seed of positive growth and evolution.

Too bad the picture quality is somewhat blurry. No reason to see this in the bigger mode (well, we've probably been spoilt by all the HD content).

There are some good points to B Corps in Jay's presentation and many assumptions and blanket statements that are incorrect. Whether it's a C-Corp, S-Corp, LLC, or a B Corp, how does one deal with greed, and government corruption? These are human behaviors that are not eliminated because a company is now a B Corp.

Please note that the incentives aren't for businesses with "humanitarian purpose," but rather "certified sustainable businesses." Those would be the public-private partnerships that are the cornerstone of the United Nations' Agenda 21 plan. Also, please note that B Lab is being approached by cities and Feds "about this work." What does that mean, that cities and Feds are approaching B Lab to see how they can hand out incentives?

We could achieve more if we all worked together in collaboration for all of mankind not for shareholders. We have the resources to feed everyone surely a resource based economy would be the way to go Imagine all of those shelved patents becoming available to mankind.Human harmony not some dystopian Orwellian nightmare that agenda 21 will become, how about Just peace love and abundance, based on scientific understanding and spiritual growth that's where we need to go so lets just go there!!

Country Partners of B Corporations in Europe: Turkey (well done, even if it not quite in Europe though) no presence of UK, neither Scandinavians nor new Eastern EU members. Why is that?

To think this genius works ten miles from us! I have a really good story about how several paths we've frequented in education, business, capitalism and technology have somehow ended at the same clearing from where we suddenly can see for miles! The system we want to change is advertising: the stakeholders we want to benefit are the injured veterans of the Middle East wars; the family-owned businesses like ours all over the country; the larger companies in the automotive industry; the government (fellow taxpayers) and charities dedicated to the veterans for the next five decades; and ourselves with a satisfying career that will supplement our retirement years (not to far in the future) with a modest extra income. Our new system will serve society. We registered our business as a Benefit Corp. in August 2013. When our website goes up, we'll be back to tell you.
