Declaration was the charter and constitution the bylaws. Why continue to reference the constitution and apply law to it when it's not subject to it. Their authority doesn't come from consent but from force, and they protect no rights but take them away. I recommend stop letting other people tell you what the truth is

Here’s the thing professor Roosevelt: while what you say is certainly thought-provoking Abraham Lincoln was no idealist determined to do the right thing. he was a very pragmatic politician, who only pursued ideals when they aligned with his political goals.
