@enlightenedwiseman62395 жыл бұрын
I think its because most people are right handed/footed. I play hockey along with others that are right handed/footed and its much easier to make counter clockwise circles then clockwise. It has something to do with the coordination/strength of the right side.

Too bad it's been so long since this was posted BUT Hardcore Punk Moshing is quite different.(punk being where "Moshing" started. The term Moshing is Americans misunderstanding a Jamaican accent. Mashing being the intended word) Metal pits = slam dancing & circle pits--- mostly reactionary But how does the equation that was presented change when style is introduced? Punk/hardcore= pogo, skanking -(many varieties), two stepping, stomping- (many varieties). Beat down, slam dancing, circle pits--- INTENTIONAL.... not to say that reactionary behavior isn't present. It is. But the simulation doesn't show.. flocking that is intentional nor intentional flocking simultaneously going on while Reactionary flocking is also going on. I guess the point of the question is how does the simulation/ equation change with the introduction of style/intentional behavior❓❓❓❓

The bands ought to set their speakers in a large circle so that the sound collides is in the center. And they can make the music go to different sides like if it all goes to one side everybody flows to that side where the sound is and if it goes to the other side they flow to the other side and if it starts going around a circle of speakers and they start going in a circle and then when it collides in the center again they Collide in the center and if it splits to four sides, Etc.

Interesting, but I think this was an almost disingenuous presentation of the data. If the law he is attempting to show evidence for (the physical laws related to collective motion "staying the same") he's presenting the circle pits as "emergent"; i.e, people go from the random looking "moshing" to a circle pit as a result of the physical laws, but that's just not the case. Circle pits are almost always "called for" by the band's vocalist; they are essentially a "set piece" and rarely happen in emergent fashion. The Killswitch Engage gig moment captured was a good example; the song is "Rose of Sharyn" and everyone knows that's the moment for a circle pit, especially as the vocalists are calling for it. I groaned a little when everyone started laughing at the Killswitch circle pit footage as it appeared to be exploitation of the ignorance of the audience to "illustrate" his point.

Next time, this speaker can leave out the Ozzy bit that features horrible cruelty to a defenseless creature. No need to highlight such a wrong thing to do. That's a complete lack of empathy. He was over the hilt on alcohol and drugs at the time. I'm more ashamed of the rest of the people that get a kick out of mentioning such shameful antics over and over again. It's not cute, funny, or worthy of highlighting unless you intend to rectify the wrongdoing by insisting it won't happen again. You know, a teachable moment. Okay, point said. The rest of this talk is quite enjoyable! Moshing is unified chaos. Fantastic!!!!

Djent isn't strictly a subgenre of metal. Then again, he didn't mention Sludge, Post and Math Metal either. At this, point, I don't think even Death Metal is a real subgenre either. With how different Melodeath, Tech Death, Brutal Death, Old School Death, etc are you kinda have to differentiate between those too. The point being, that list could span multiple slides if he included an exhaustive list x)
