That is how to reset to factory setting...How does one discover the master code so a new passcode number set can be entered to "Change the lock"? We bought a house with Teecho lock, we need change the lock code but don't know the master code.

Hey I had the same problem! For me, whoever was here before me changed the “master code” The master code turned out to be the code they gave me to unlock the door lol I hope this helps!

I followed the instructions to factory reset, but the red light flashes with some beeps and it is not resetting. Also, I am not able to lock without the key, but the unlock works with code and fingerprint. Any help is appreciated.

I might try to lock with door open and then yes it sounds like it needs to be reset and resynced. I would just make sure that is being held down the whole time I accidentally released a few times when I was attempting.

Having the same reset issues. I suggest having a key made and hide it outside.

I do that and then it beeps twice if not more and red light comes on

I would just make sure you have pushed in the whole time but could be dysfunctional this my first time hearing of this issue.
