Oh no, viegar does it because he was traumatized by Morde who forced him to make him teach magic and used him as a tool. Who was ruler of the world at the time so nobody could help viegar. Some sort of mishap does make all his evil actions into positive good outcomes though.

@@rootyful na, i odnt remember if it's old lore or new one, but before tale of bandle city (i dont even know if the game 100% canon) it's sure that mordekaiser severed the link between him and the spirit realm. he is a yordle, an immortal being of love and friendship, that could not get back to his realm of love and frienship and was in a cell of untold years. When mordekaiser was defeated (all in the plan of morde himself) veigar was finally free, but incapable of returning in his world of origin. Turned mad in a world has cold and relentless has our, he decided to give it back 100%, tus, he became this crasy edgelord that wish to bring darkness and suffering on people... Well actually no, a part of him is still this good guy, so the blind evil he try to inflict is being thrown on other evil bastard with brutal efficiency. but he say he is evil noneless to the populace that can for once in their "pathetic) life get to live in peace and actually pay taxe to veigar in exchange for protection. Sometime, i imagine them making a festival in his honor, i'm sure he thinks that's because they fear him, but they are just gratefull for their supreme overlord.
