What a amazing young man. That has to of been a burden growing up being born on that day but he doesn't seem bitter about it but rather chooses to help those in need in that day.

I'm 1 month, 10 days older than him 😁 Speaking of, on that day, my mom was like holding me as she saw the broadcast of the tower, and my dad made it home within the same day by sheer miracle. Mom doesn't know how he did it. I think he was working in one of the boroughs. We were elsewhere so it was a big drive.

My daughter was born hours before the Las Vegas shooting happened. I felt the same way as these parents. I was joyful and felt guilty for it. I was experiencing giving life while that scumbag was taking lives. It's hard. I was crying for those dead and injured while breast feeding my hours old baby. Her birthday will always be a solemn day because while we experience the joy of our little girl growing a year older, so many families are going through the pain of another year without their loved one.

My twin boys were born on 9-11 of 1989. This tragedy happened on their 12th birthday. Tonight they celebrate their birthday together as they always do, but always remember those lost on their 12th birthday. We must always remember them and never forget those lost that day.

I had just turned 3 months born June 6 to mexican Mom and a black dad. When i look at footage of those towers i can't help but think i can't believe i was just 3 months in a car seat not being able to know anything yet while chaos was going on in NY for me looking at that footage is like looking at a whole different world and here i am now 19 in awe and curious. Time really does fly.

Those of us who were old enough ALL remember exactly where we were. My husband and I had just started dating. we just turned 15. I was in Mr Lynn history class first period 9th grade. I honestly didn’t even realize how serious it was at first. A tiny town in KY that seemed like a different world. I realized how serious it was when all the adults/teachers stopped everything they were doing and turned on the news. some even cried. i’ll never forget my husband was sick that day and not at school. that was before we had cellphones lol I used a classroom phone to call his landline at home and his mom answered crying. Our oldest child is 14. finally old enough to “get it” himself. Even feeling like we were worlds away in a tiny town, I assure you we were all still terrified every single time we heard a plane flying low for months. Although a small town we have several large chemical and oil refineries that would wipe out a large amount of miles in the blast zone. we met a couple on vacation several years ago that were in NYC on 9/11 and hearing their story was devastating. Watching the video coverage is nothing compared to that day, no matter where you were. I’ll never forget it. God bless the fallen and their families. “Never forget”

Wow, I don’t think anyone would bat an eye nowadays if something similar or worse happened. with how much news we get nowadays and all. It sure sounds nice to have lived in such a safe looking world, even if was just an illusion because of the lack of information.

Yussef you’re right, but MSM, social media and reality are two different things. Typical News and an actual event that shakes an entire nation. Even then American MSM was about the same. Mostly propaganda. It has been for decades. I remember my grandparents telling vivid memories in great detail about JFK. That shook the entire nation. Most people will remember these things the rest of their lives down to where they were standing when it happened/they heard. The difference is nowadays, idiots like this kid below saying “get over it” on 9/11. I’m not even surprised though tbh. My memory is NOTHING compared to the people in NYC that day or the families that lost loved ones. It’s just a memory of a very horrible day in our nations history

Yussef you replied to my comment as well. Yes, it was scary. Nobody knew what was happening at first. Not only two planes hitting the tower but also the pentagon and one brought down in PA. Of course most people were scared. Attacks on US soil just don’t happen like that...
