I was diagnosed with epilepsy at age 22, I can't go swimming, I can't drive, my family doesn't even want me to shower if I am home alone due to the fear of me having a seizure in the shower and dying. It's hard to live with, and to have people make fun of Cameron because of how he died is just sick. I had a seizure in my sleep once and thank goodness my husband saw it quickly and called 911 or I could have died.

what kind of seizures do you have? if you don’t mind me asking. i have epilepsy too but i consider myself lucky because i usually only have absence seizures (if you didn’t know i had seizures and you saw me have an absence seizure, you’d think i was just daydreaming. it would be dangerous for me to drive though but i don’t really have them anymore and i think i can drive now) my mom said i used to shake as a baby though so they put me on keppra but they took me off that a few years ago because according to the eeg i don’t have seizures anymore.
