My niece was withheld from my sister by her father after they had an argument and we didn't know where they were, he wouldn't answer the phone, we didn't even know where he lived! That was by far the scariest 2 weeks ever because I didn't know if we were ever going to get her back so I can sympathize with Jenelle here. When we finally got her back she had bruises down her legs because he didn't have a home suitable for a 4 year old. Nathan shouldn't have done what he did so it's his fault that Jenelle would rather go through the legal system.

We saw Nathan flat out lie and say they weren't out of state when they definitely were! But the thing is all of what you're talking about is after the fact. This situation happened in like episode 2 or 3. Jenelle went to New York and left Kaiser in Nathan's care and instead of him telling her; she finds out from someone on Twitter and he decides to lie about it. So of course she's now not going to flat out tell him every time the baby is with a sitter.
