Hey to you. This girl, Angelina Jorden is a born singer. She began singin classic jazz when she was very young, inspiered by her grandmother. She won "Norway got talent" at the age of 8 years old. She is borned with great musicality and has done so many songs (several hundreds) taped with great result. Angelina is now 19 years old in januery -25, and live now in Los Angeles and has shorly a great carrier in front of her. I've seen her singin jazz in a studio at age 6 years old. Her delivery of the lyrics and all the right motions is remarkebel! A fenomen she is! 🥰

Some of the best music reactors on KZbin are classically trained opera singers. They are aware of various vocal techniques while simultaneously showing admiration for those performers that have mastered the meaning and emotion of the songs. Angelina is a rare talent, that has always excelled way beyond her age. Although this isn't a jazz song (her best genre), she's able to toe-to-toe (or belt-for-belt) with the current pop divas. But, to my mind, she only uses what’s needed without the extra embellishments. I’m glad that you reacted to this song. Thank you. I am looking forward to viewing more of your music reactions.

What I really love about this performance is AJ's ability to change her vowels from very open and bright to very closed and sonorous -- in an instant. Add to that her breath control and her attention to dynamics, her pitch and her runs, and you get a masterpiece like this. The nuanced contrasts she brings to her performances are so astonishing, which is why singers (like you) are typically the very best reactors to her videos. Thank you, Aaliyah! As the young and wonderful singer you are, I do apriciate your views and comments to Angelina`s great talent and art. This one I was truly stunned by as she picked it up again this summer, for this official video recording, AND for her live performances in Norway this summer. May I also suggest you react to what may be the closest song to classic music, Angelina has done so far. This song was written for Angelina to sing, by a rather young classical composer named Nico Cartosio. For his classic music album "Melting" (released in 2019) he wanted a vocal piece as the final cut. Angelina was likely still 12 when she recorded this. The song is called "Song For A". I was watching "Norway's got Talent" back when she won it, at seven years old. I'll never forget her "Summertime". It foreshadowed her entire life. Oh, and it's surprising that English isn't her first, or second, language. You can spot the years of vocal training, including university, not to mention the training she got on those "reality shows" she won. If you're curious, she was a Jazz singer in the beginning, ala Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, and Sarah Vaughan, and was as good. Angelina Jordan could never use autotune, it would kill the emotion. If autotune is used there’s a lack of emotion by nature, autotune flattens out the pitch and harshens the transitions between pitches. When singers opt for heavy autotune on their vocal track, it tends to kill a lot of the emotion that may have been prevalent in the performance. Conversely, when a singer’s voice is ripping with emotion, it’s a good indication that the track hasn’t been autotuned. Angelina Jordan evokes emotion like no other performer in my past, or possible in my future.

I was a Whitney fan from the beginning of her career to her tragic end. Whitney was great, but Angelina at 16 is far better than Whitney ever was at making you feel each word, and phrase. AJ changes every cover to make if hers and far, far better than the original. AJ is the greatest STORYTELLING ARTEST I have ever experienced in my 75 years.
