@coder9285 жыл бұрын
So cut off your arms if you wanna be like him lmao
@martaleszkiewicz51155 жыл бұрын
He lost his arms as a baby due to an infection and grew up with no arms. Living without them is all that he knows and remembers, so obviously he learned to get by without them from the very beginning. That's why he doesn't miss them nor feels longing for having them. That's a very different mentality and socialisation as opposed to someone who would have lost their arms e.g. in an accident as an adult or an older kid. The general public tends to view disabled people as this huge "inspiration" in overcoming the unthinkable, but forgets to consider the kind and context of their individual impairment. Someone who grew up with their disability, e.g. missing a limb and doesn't know life without the impairment and doesn't tend to have nearly as much to overcome as a person with the same exact impairment but who went through life healthy and lost their limb years later. For the latter, learning to live post-accident/illness/attack/whatever caused them to lose the limb as well as accepting their body in the current state on a psychosomatic level is a constant uphill struggle, whereas people born with their disability are usually just going on about their business and try to live a normal peaceful life to the best of their abilities. They might struggle with certain things the rest of the public has no problem with doing, but for them it's their normal. They're not mourning the body they never had, if that makes sense. For this reason a lot of disabled people also cringe when someone calls them an "inspiration". They consider themselves normal and want to be treated normally by others, not constantly put on a pedestal and have others rub in their face how "different" they are. Anyway, kudos to this kid for not letting others dissuade him from pursuing what he likes based on how they perceived them inherently to be and showing that a little bit of grit and discipline goes a long way, even if - or especially if - others don't believe in you. I hope he has a happy life and keeps playing. (Edit for spacing)
