Peter was able to bring himself back to life using the worm Moon and Derek alpha spark. All werewolves have a spark with alphas werewolf having a bit extra which make them stronger and give them the ability to transfer some of their spark onto another thereby creating another werewolf. That's why the more in a pack make the individual stronger. When Derek killed Peter he stole Peter spark which turn Derek into a alpha. Peter used some of that spark to bring himself back to life. In a similar way Peter used Lydia bite to transfer from his spark into her already knowing she was immune. So Peter can use that spark Lydia received to manipulate her later for a emergency like his passing and he had to wait to the worm moon to make her proceed with his plan.

I don’t have a lot of sympathy for Allison’s mom either. The only reason she got bitten was because she was literally trying to murder a teenager who had done nothing wrong. This is the consequences of her own actions, and she had other options besides committing. I do feel bad for Chris and even more for Allison. Gerard can get wrecked.

Gosh this episode hurts!!! I feel so bad for both Allison and her dad. It’s obvious he loves his wife, I can’t imagine the pain he must be being feeling. Then of course Allison, their relationship hasn’t been the best but it’s clear that they love each other. I just can’t help be feel for them, except Grandpa 😑 we don’t like him.
