Love your reactions to Teena’s music ❤️ Fantastic that you hear the operatics of her voice. Teena told a story once about how she was studying/performing opera at a very young age. She even had an opera vocal teacher. She was going to go to Italy with her teacher to study opera seriously but her parents felt she was too young to go by herself so she didn’t. At least that’s the story I heard her tell. A song I recommend you listen to is Tune In Tomorrow off of Irons In The Fire. That whole album/cd/or however you hear music is 🔥Thanks for posting your videos, love them!

I appreciate this reaction so much, i knew there was something here. All reactors/listeners dont express the feel of song. I always loved and anticipated the releases of a Teena Marie album. Teena always had a gorgeous original poem on the album cover, and Teena’s original lyrics printed on the album sleeve! Then to see on each album cover the words: Written, arranged and produced by Teena Marie! I was always in awe of this musical and lyrical genius! Teena was and is the embodiment of soul music with many diverse influences. She goes far beyond the cliche of being “blue eyed soul.”
